The Power Of Information

THE POWER OF INFORMATION

Recently, my english teacher, Miss Monica, gave an article to read on which is titled 'The Boys Who Fought The Nazis'. It is an interesting article about three german boys who helped spread awareness and the truth about the war during World War II.

The Nazis kept the German people in the dark about the war while Hitler was sending the Germans into battles they couldn't win. Moreover, the Nazis founded the Nazi club boys called Jungvolk, or 'Young Folk' in 1936 and the league of German girls to train them to become soldiers, shaping their beliefs since young. The three boys realised the truth when one of the boys, Helmuth showed them a shortwave radio he has and they then began typing up leaflets to show the German people.

With these information about the war, the German people could help in the resistance of the Nazis and even stop the war from within. This shows us the power of information that can stop wars or change the tides of how the war will end.

  1. Hello. I had read your blog post and to be honest, it is quite interesting and it has changed my perspective about how important information is. Information can change anything with a blink of an eye. I like it overall and you just need to improve a bit on your grammar. Keep up the good work!
