The Changes My Country Has Experienced From 9.5.2018 Till Today

As all Malaysians know, an election was held on the 9th of May 2018 and I was surprised when i heard that the opposition party won. It was a historical event as the opposition party, Pakatan Harapan outvote the ruling party, Barisan Nasional for the first time since the country became independent in 1957.

For the opposition party to achieve such great results, it was obvious that all voters for Pakatan Harapan are waiting for a huge change compared to when Barisan Nasional was the ruling party. At Prime Minister Mahathir's first press conference on Thursday, our Prime Minister pledged to fight corruption. Investigation has been undergone against suspects. I have not been following much on the news about whats going on but i hope that corrupted officers will be caught and given the right punishment. Moreover, i also hope that our country, Malaysia will be going straight towards the right direction and away from corruption and poverty.

Burmese Pool

Recently, my family and I visited my grandparents in Taiping. While we were there, we went to the burmese pool. It was a must for us to go there every time we went to Taiping. However, we stopped going there for a few months, which is why we decided to go there again. The Burmese pool is not actually a pool people have in their backyard or at a club. It is in the mountains and the pool is actually just the river. Its not a place to go if you want to swim laps, but I strongly recommend going there if you want to relax. Even though there is a lot of mosquitoes and leeches that likes nothing more than to suck your blood dry. However, when you reach the top of the river, away from the public ( which is very dirty at the bottom of the river where everyone swims as they are lazy to climb up the mountain), the water is cold, fresh and most importantly, clean. Small fishes swim around me while lay my head on a rock and soak my body in the refreshing water while I think about all the homework I forgot to do. Other than that, the view of the river in the mountains are surreal! When you lie down in the water and close your eyes, everything can be heard. The water is very shallow but if you take some time and use rocks to block the flow, the water level will rise a little and therefore you can move around the water more. My brother and I even made a stone monument by stacking up rocks like how professional photographers or artists do. Its amazing how just stacking up rocks can be a work of art. We went back after an hour of stacking rocks and lying down in the water. An important fact was learned from this trip. Do not get attacked by leeches. They are poisonous. I got 3 leeches on me while i was jungle tracking in the mountain. When we were on our way to the burmese pool, we met a relative who is 80 something years old and selling coconut, bananas and papayas by the roadside as he is bored of staying at home. You would never believe someone like that can be a 'datuk', but he is. He was given the title 'datuk' last year for representing the country in the sports javelin when he was young. It was a surprise to me too.

Ladies Should Not Accept Jobs That Take Them Away From Home Excessively

I agree that ladies should not accept jobs that take them away from home. If the ladies wants to provide for the family, they should also consider about their children at home. Parents play an important role in the education of children in order to prevent them from choosing the wrong path to walk or choose the wrong friends who later on convince them to smoke or steal just because parents fail to educate or tell them what type of friends they should look out for.

Ladies can accept jobs that they can work from home or at most not take away from home excessively. This way, ladies can take good care of the children and at the same time provide for the family.
