My Grandmother's birthday

On the night before my grandmother's birthday, we went to this restaurant that just opened at citta mall called the Manhattan Fish Market and the fried dory was amazing and finger-licking good! We then returned home full and satisfied. On the next day, we woke up as early as we could and set off to avoid any traffic jam. Fortunately, we arrived in Taiping without any obstacle.

When we arrived and my grandmother came out to check who we were, she didn't recognise me or any of my family members which is a little heartbreaking. However, with a bit of help from my aunt, she remembered and welcomed us with open arms. As my grandmother has a hard time remembering things, she always forgets that it was her birthday. Therefore , telling her that it was her big day always cheers her up.

After dinner, we went home to celebrate and the cake was delicious. Bought from a bakery shop that always has people queuing was the new york cheesecake and it was amazing. I had a great time celebrating my grandmother's birthday and i hope that she did too.

What I learned about how my efforts will contribute to my exam marks

Examination is a very important process in determining the level of knowledge a student has and also how good a person is in academics. For a person who is not active in sports or hate the idea of going out, studying or reading books is a great way to spend their time. Therefore, they can achieve excellent results from their exams. However, a person who is always out under the sun sweating, scoring hoops or goals, will not have enough time to study or hates studying or reading.

As for me, I'm more of a mixture of both. I love sports especially basketball, and i also love reading science-fiction novels. I also enjoy doing challenging additional maths questions or modern maths questions. Unfortunately, I always push back revisions and procrastinating on my assignments. Which is the reason i sometimes fail my tests. Recently, there was this monthly test that I fortunately got good marks at, which is for English.

I did all the homework my teacher gave and wrote most of the blogs my teacher told us to write. Thankfully , this ended up increasing my exam marks instead of decreasing it.
