A Momentous Moment in the history of Malaysia

The most momentous moment in the history of Malaysia in my opinion is Hari Merdeka or  Independence Day, refers to the day when Malaysia request for independence from the British was officially declared. At exactly 09:30 on 31 August 1957, the declaration was read by the first Chief Minister of Malaya, Tunku Abdul Rahman at the Merdeka Stadium in the presence of thousands of people, members of the federal government, and foreign dignitaries.
To commemorate the event, Hari Merdeka was declared a national Day in Malaysia and observed annually on 31 August. Until now, it is celebrated by every Malaysia. However, there is also an event where there is a change for the prime minister position. This happened through the effort of every citizen that voted for the opposition.
This concludes my blog for today.

Teacher's Day 2018

To be honest, I never wanted to come to school on this day and for the past 3 years as it was thought to be a boring day where we just watch students and teachers perform and play games. The reason i came to school for the past 3 years was only because my mother asked me to. However, I came to school on teacher's day this year is only to pass up my friend's homework.

It was as always boring day until a few of the performances which is the K-pop dances. They were the only performances that made me take back my word for talking about how boring it is. The highlight of the day was this trio whose lead dancer was a friend of mine called Henry and one of the other dancer who was also my friend,Derrick. They were amazing! Ive never people dance so coordinately in my life!

I believe through hard work and skills, they manage to get to this level that I can never dare dream of reaching.

My First ULBS for English

ULBS is an important part of my English exam. This is why Im always checking my notes for the presentation and constantly looking out for any mistakes. As preparation, my teacher decided to let us talk and present about our favourite book in front of our juniors. I was a nervous wreck, with sweaty palms and shaking legs when i walked in the classrooms of my form 1 juniors.

Sometimes i wonder about my future, if I couldn't talk smoothy without being this nervous in front of a class of 30, how can I present or talk about a proposal in front of successful businessmen and businesswomen. Fortunately, that happened only for the first class i talked about my in, for the following classes, the audience was my friendly and talks to me, giving morale support. They gave me a vote of confidence that no one has ever given.

My English teacher chose her victims by having a lucky draw. The first presenter will choose the next victim after his or her presentation. This is the only first time that Im ever grateful for my bad luck during a lucky draw as i was the last to be picked, the person who never came to school not included. I quickly went in to talking about the book that I read for 3 times a month, and staring at the back of the class. Some of my friends tried to distract and make me laugh, but i quickly dismissed them from my mind by thinking about the story of the book.

At the end, I achieved a good score of 26 out of 30. I was proud of my marks but I believe that can do better if I wasn't nervous.
